Error While running Java Program

Can anyone help me? I have an exception message when i execute a simple java program to display hello world in command prompt. I am using java 1.5.0_05 currently for the execution. Let me put the exeception message below:

That error message means that you have a class that you compiled with Java 5.0, and you are trying to run it with an older Java version.

Make sure you uninstall the older Java version, or make sure you are running it with Java 5.0.

At your command prompt, key in:

E> java -version

... What do you get?
