hello all. i am working on a program that decides if a word or a sentence is a palindrome. this is my first time using JOption. here is my code:

im getting the following errors illegal start of expression
private void getDecision()
and ';' expected

can someone tell me what i am doing wrong?

You have problems with your open and close brackets. For example, you don't end your main() method before you start do declare your getDecision() method. That's the meaning of the "illegal start of expression" error.
