this is sort of meaningless and kind of drivel...at the very least it might keep you amused for a while trying to find one for me. i have a speech monday on how to search google and find what you want. ive got several good examples but need an example that demonstrates a typical american getting lots of results in a foreign language. i know it has happened to me before, probly when searching for a filename i think. anyway, any examples of that would help. want to demonstrate how they can limit results to english. other examples and war stories welcome too of course [ April 30, 2004: Message edited by: Randall Twede ]

Google's default is "Search for pages written in any language (Recommended)."
If you use the advanced search, you can pick the language "Search only for pages written in these language(s): (a list of languages you can choose from)".
You can also set your preferences if you always start your searches from Google's home page.
