Hi,

Am facing a problem with executing the java program.

I have set the path variable to PATH=d:vijay\java\jdk1.5\bin. I have saved the program in d:\vijay\java\HelloWorldApp.java and trying to execute the program in d:\vijay\java, but it is giving me an error 'javac' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.

If i save the program in d:vijay\java\jdk1.5\bin and execute it is working fine, i can create my class and the program is working fine.

Please help.

Regards,
Vijay.

Try setting the path to PATH=d:\vijay\java\jdk1.5\bin

Note the extra '\' after the d:
