i want to access a database in open office from my java application!! Can someone tell me how to do it? Connecting to Access is ok, but i am new to open office. A reference implemetation will do or a link to one will be great!
I dont want to do research! I am at present doin a project and just wanted to know if i can use Open office as my back end!! and java as the front . If yes can u please tell me how to connect to the database file?

No, they meant to show frustration. I do not know the answer, but if I needed/wanted to, you can bet I would click that link Ulf Dittmer supplied.
Just clicked on that link, and spent a whole 5 minutes on it. There does seem to be a Java library that is used to interface with it. There is also a mention of a beta JDBC driver.
