Has anyone tried Sun's Web Based Java Training Courses? I was looking to take the following courses from Sun:

1.) Fundamentals of the Java Programming Language WJB-110A
2.) J2EE Platform Overview for Managers WJTB-310
3.) Java Programming Language WJB-275A
4.) J2SE Platform 5.0 for the Developer: Language Changes WJO-2762

if anyone has any thoughts or review of Sun's Web Based Java Training courses, please let me know, your feedback would be greatly appreciated .

Thank you,

My personal opinion is that these courses seem a bit pricey. And, they're just an online course. I must say though, that I've never taken one and would be interested to hear of anyone's experience with these.

You might do just fine with picking up a good, beginning Java book like 'Head First Java' and working through it.

Also, you might do better with a night course at a community college. Again this might be more expensive, but at least you get a 'hands-on' instructor.

I agree. Here's the link:
