Pls friends,i am Trying to prepare for the first level of java certification dnt know which books to use.

By "first level," do you mean the associate exam (SCJA) or the programmer exam (SCJP)?

We have a SCJA forum with a SCJA FAQ, and a SCJP forum with a SCJP FAQ. The FAQs should get you headed in the right direction.

(Note that the SCJA exam is not required for the SCJP exam.)
