how to start java program in separate cmd window

Hello all
i have global cmd window that is executing some applications for example
but when i sty to run java application that is in other cmd its start in the same window
and i like it to start in different cmd window , how can it be done ?

for example i have this global.cmd that looks like this :



the javaApp.cmd looks like this :




so i like that when calling to the javaApp.cmd it will open me separate window and not in the same global.cmd window

will do the trick. However, the new cmd window will close when you app finish.

hi thanks for the fast reply , its working
i know its not java related or maybe it is ...
as part of the global.cmd , i terminate all the applications
using XP taskkill command something like .
TASKKILL /F /IM myApp1.exe
TASKKILL /F /IM myApp2.exe
but now if i like to also terminate the java applications
when i do tasklist , im only getting :
java.exe 2796 Console 0 32,168 K
how can i give the java application some kind of ID so i could terminate it by name
