For Assignment Servlets-2 (Reverse) I check in my ReverseServlet whether the user sent anything and either reverse the text or print a message that says no text was sent.
Should I have that check in there or not?
If I don't put it in there my Servlet code will be pretty short.
That's okay by me but I'm not sure if I am getting everything out of it that I should.

The bummer about this is only 4 people have completed this assignment, and two of them are on the inactive list. One of the inactives is a nitpicker.
Well, at least this will bump it up to the top, so it might get more attention
Good luck.

Thanks Paul,
I may have to wait till I can send it in to be nitpicked.
Although that may take awhile because currently I am being nitpicked on Say b Attempt 6.
I have another question but this has to do with Assignment: Servlet-3 Reverse2Servlet. Do I have to make the code just neat in the servlet code or also make it neat for the HTML side as well? Or rather, does it matter how the code looks to the user if they view the source to see the HTML code?

I had that check in my code.

It certainly is a lot easier to read if it is neat.

For Assignment Servlets-2 (Reverse), I put a check in my code too.

The nitpickers might have a different opinion, but I think it is more important that the HTML in the servlet code is neat than what HTML output of the servlet looks like. However, if there are things you need to debug in the HTML output, it is easier to find if it is neat too.
