EccSelectionModel model = support.getSelectionModel();

what is the meaning of this?
i mean what is it doing if EccSelectionModel is a class?

looks like you have an object of some kind, referred to as "support" and it has a method, "getSelectionModel()", you invoke it and you get back a ModelNumber object in your newly declared reference "model".
