Ive taped this series, but I havent watched much of it yet. And already its five episodes in.

First Impressions: Nice use of the Blade Runner theme in the opening scene, cuts nicely to the crashed plane on the beach. Wow! Guy gets sucked into engine... thats gotta hurt.

I havent seen much else apart from the adverts. Considering that this is from the folks who also created "Alias" (Oh yeah!), Im pretty thrilled about this new series. What I like about "Lost" is the speculation about what *else* might be inhabiting the island...

Lost. Worth your time or Waste of your time? What do you think?

Worth it, IMO. My favorite series currently running. You know, now that B5, Farscape, Buffy, Angel and Firefly are all gone. Of course Alias and 24 are still around, but currently on hiatus it seems.

Yeah, but that engine was just a Plot Device™ waiting to happen. We knew someone was going to get sucked in, from the moment we heard it still running. The only question was when.

Maybe, but what I'm enjoying most so far is the unexpected turns each character takes as we go. Who are these people, really? The Locke episode blew me away. Mark, you'll know which one I mean when I see it. Everyone else - don't spoil it for him.

I'm enjoying Lost so far, but I'm a couple of episodes behind. Regarding 24... It jumped the shark in season 3 when Elisha Cuthbert became an employee for the same agency Keifer Sutherland works for (can't remember the name). Hot though she may be, she's constantly getting into trouble and having to be saved. This begins to wear thin after awhile. I mean really, you'd think that Keifer would have just sent her on vacation or something to keep her out of the way. Needless to say, I never finished season 3.

Currently watching The Wire and Lost. Looking forward to the next seasons of The Shield and Stargate Atlantis. Lately I've mostly been watching TV seasons on DVD. I recently finished season 2 of Buffy (awesome), and I'm currently on season 4 of Voyager (Six-of-Nine's first season... the costume designer deserved an award for her outfit).

When i first heard about it, I thought it was a "YADRS" - Yet Another Dumb Reality Show. (Which I am getting pretty sick of these days!!!).

But, its kinda fun to watch Lost :-)

By the way, the Best thing since sliced bread are Firefox and Halo.

Just finished watching the first five installments (after all these recommendations). Yeah, that Locke story really got my hairs standing. Actually, same for the Jack story. Each episode improves on the previous. I wish more shows could manage that.

For a while I was thinking they're in a kind of purgatory, then realised that guy wouldn't have gotten sucked into the engine if that was true. Hmmm. Jet engine.
