I'm sure there are others like Zoolander that ought to be placed somewhere on the list...
Dr Strangelove - Monty Pythonesque How I stopped worrying and learned to love the Bomb..

What's your funniest movie list ?

Can't say I ever got "Something About Mary" ... probably one of the very few who didn't finish it...

Monty Python is almost always good...

Then there's "Weekend at Bernies", if you're looking for mindless entertainment.

If we're going to talk Monty Python, Life of Brian is where it's at.

It's an old movie: Money Pit starring Tom Hank. I like the movie "Miss Congeniality" too. Anyone watched the classic sitcoms "I love lucy" and "Bewitched"?

Gotta agree here - everyone always puts "Holy Grail" up there in their list of favourites when "Brian" is a far superior film (my favourite movie of all time!)

You guys make all good picks.

Holy Grail
Caddyshack
Brain Donors
All of the Zucker Brothers films, Brain Donors was done by one of them.
National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation.
Happy Gilmore.

I could go on and on.

Funniest line in a comedy...

Three way tie

"And I was just finished my tunnel" - Top Secret

"Deep in the heart of Texas" sung in Pee Wee's Big Adventure.

From Brain Donors
"Spell Cat",
"K-A-T",
"You need to go back to school."
"I hated Teaching."

Life of Brian is hillarious, but so is the Holy Grail.
So hard to choose between them...

Another fav is Spaceballs, but probably mainly to SciFi afficionados who recognise all the elements of other movies it's making fun of.

I see alot of good/funny movies, I'd like to append
"Finding Nemo" to the list.

I just saw "White Chicks" a few weeks ago - it can
defendly be recommended. Very funny.

A very funny movie, but not half as funny as the movie its a remake of "Mr. Blandings Builds his Dream Home". Someone else mentioned "The Bird Cage", again not half as funny as "le Cage au Folles" which its a remake of.

For other really old, really funny movies, try anything directed by Preston Sturges, especially "The Miracle of Morgans Creek" or "The Palm Beach Story".

For a bit of workplace fun, check out Memorable quotes from Monty Python and The Holy Grail

oh, and I thought There's Something About Mary was really funny, but it may have something to do with being in company of really good friends and the amount of beer we had consumed.

xXx - I think they spent all the script money at a tatoo parlour. I don't know if it was meant to be funny, but it was the first film to blatently just throw in extreme sports stunts for the sake of it ( like when Vin Diesel jumped over a wall on a motorbike, did a superman move and then shot all the baddies ). It might not be so funny if I watch it again after films like Charlies Angels 2.

The originals of both were fairly good, but their sequels got exponentially worse with each release until they contain nothing humerous at all.

I agree, Zoolander was far funnier than I expected. Mugatu is just priceless

I do think Spinal Tap has to be one of the funniest of all time. I also like Withnail and I.
