Hi,

On my machine i can see some JREs present in 'C:\Program Files\Java folder'.
I also see one under 'C:\Program Files\JavaSoft'.
Could someone tell me the difference between these folders?
Does one come as a part of JDK installation & other with JRE installation? If that is the case, please let me know which is which

I don't have the answer to your question, but I do have a tip for you...

You can edit your own posts - at the top of each are several icons. the one that looks like a paper/pencil will let you edit the post, the subject, or even delete your own post.

Note that if you delete your post, and it's the first one in the thread, the entire thread goes away.

I agree. Here's the link: http://ej-technologies/jprofiler - if it wasn't for jprofiler, we would need to run our stuff on 16 servers instead of 3.
