when we pass a revised assignment should we also include the nitpicked assignment?

Do you mean when you post your status on the Assignment Log ?.
If that is the case :
The log shows the assignment you are busy with and the attempt number. If you have passed an assignment the log will show the next assignment. The attempt number will a 0 or 1. I use 0 (zero) to indicate that the student is busy with the assignment.
If I understood you question wrong please elaborate.

sorry for not being clear in my first post.
what i mean is that when you email a revised assignment should you also attach the old one with comments from nitpickers.
