I'm totally confused as to the different versions of Java..I have couple of questions..

Is Java 2 1.5 an outdated version? if so, what is the latest update for that product?

Is Jave 2 1.5 = J2SE 5?

What is the difference between JRE 6 update 3 and J2SE 5 ?

Thank you in advance..

This blog entry explains the Java version pretty well.

If that blog does not answer your question, Maggie, it might be best to state your question with some context around what you're trying to accomplish with Java.

I'm going to move your thread to a more appropriate forum, as this forum is specifically for web programming certification exam.

It looks like there was already a Beginner copy of this thread here, so I'll close this one. Maggie, please don't post multiple copies of the same question, as it wastes people's time to reply to something that already has a good response elsewhere.
