Has anyone any idea why posts can't be made to some sites, noteably this one and blogger, using a Nokia 7610 ?

I can post to a guy's recollections and musings on the web ,of using UNIX, RDBMS, iMac G5. He hasn't mentioned Java at all so I think he isn't using it.

What's missing, apart from part of a brain ?

BTW, Nokia haven't been much help even after a software refresh though half their Customer Service staff apparently think I ought to be able to post comments with this model of phone.
The network provider hasn't helped much either. Surely posting some text, doesn't require a lot of bandwith or space? I don't have a lot of use for the phone part though the little use makes it a necessity. So it would be nice to be able to use the full features of web sites.
