Whenever an object oriented purest/guru start talking about how OOP is better then procedural I become psychotic; You mess with a psycho you end up dead and those who couldn't live drown in a turtles head.

Who hasn't worked with psychos ? Bosses are psychotic it has been scientifically proven. Or they wouldn't be bosses. The psychoism that Gerald describes is of a different kind. I'm right and that's the end of the matter Unfortunately, some of the latter kind end up being bosses. Programmers who end up being bosses tend to fall in this category IMHO.It's the on-off switches they've been programmed with. [ December 13, 2004: Message edited by: Helen Thomas ]

11) You buy your children or significant other a video game for Christmas, knowing full well you will play it at least as much as them. (This also applies to other geeky toys like Legos.)

13.) enter customer building with the ultimative plan to push forward work today thousands of miles. 4 hours later they suddenly realize that they've done nothing productive so far, except to log into customer network. Then staying there until 22:00 and having pushed forward work in more or less regular amounts

Love to hike. Love coffee. Love American football. Did I mention that I love American football? Love to solve complex puzzles, for fun or for pay. (prefer the later, when the mortgage is due) Have worked with more than one psycho over the years. Am a devote geek, loving all info technical, even if it is not relevant to anything in my life.
