mutator method

I have doubt with instantmethods

Hi Sri,

I googled about Mutator Methods and get this.

Methods that alter variables.The mutator method name should start with "set".

So they can be called 'Setter Methods' also.

String firstName;
public void setFirstName(String firstName)
{
this.firstName = firstName;
}

We don't have anything like 'instant' method. It is instance method which is related to instance(Object) of a class.
