Javac..Where O where have you gone?

Should I be able to search and find the javac file? When i go into comand prompt and type javac i get the response "'javac' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable progaram or batch file." I've downloaded SDK EE. I can see a java folder in the start menue, but i don't know how to proceed from there.

As part of the installation, you should update your PATH variable so your system can find these tools.

I'm in the C:\sun\SDK folder when i try to compile

ok i found it sorry, i wasn't digging far enouph. thank you
