How Collections.checkedSet works

Hi,

Can you please explain me the difference between creating the Hash Set in below following ways:

  Set<String> hs = new HashSet<String>();
 
Set<String> hs1 = Collections.checkedSet(new HashSet<String>(), String.class);

There are at least two sources that you should check first:

- the JavaDoc of the methods, and if that's not enough,
- the source code of those methods (coming with every JDK)
