Just read the online documentation given by the vendor. It will be even understand by anyone. Then start it by execute startup.bat in tomcat bin folder and type http://localohost:[portno]/ in your browser and you see the home page. And have a look at the Servlet examples there and it's self explanatory which is enough for you..
