Integrating jdk with netbeans?

Hi!
I am trying to install netbeans 1.6 which i have downloaded form sun website ,But when i run the netbeans program it gives a message like this"Jdk 6 or 5 is required for installing the netbeand IDE.Specify valid jdk location using --javahome installer argument"
i have no knowlege for specify location where should it specified ? how to do it?please help

Moreover i already had the jdk 1.5 installed on my system C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.5.0

then why it is not recognising ?
I also had my classpath as follows

C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.5.0\lib\tools.jar;C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.5.0\lib\dt.jar;.;



By the by what is java home installer? where can i find it my computer ?

I think you might have skipped when installation asks for JDK. You can find instructions here
http://www.netbeans.org/community/releases/60/install.html

well I already installed jdk 1.5 , theniam trying to install the netbeans..i mean when iam clicking on the setup file this msg is coming !!
