My favorite letter is "j" ..it's never "j" right? it's "y" rather...

like in San Jose..it is "San Yosa"..

Why I heard more than once that people pronounce it like "San Hosa"

Thats Spanish pronounciation, not English. All the accents I can think of, "j" is always pronounced like Homer Simpson pronounces his middle name.

Strictly, neither are English accents - though both Scottish and Irish dialect mostly use English vocabluary these days.
