Fedora 7 passed End-Of-Life for support and updates in June of this year. For legal reasons, installing Java on Fedora 7 requires jumping through some hoops
I recommend you upgrade to the current release of Fedora 9, which has built-in support for OpenJDK/Java 6.

Same as everywhere else: click download then choose Platform for a drop-down list.

By the way: I can never seem to get the rpm version to work but the self-extracting sort seems to work every time.
