Why is this code not generating a deprecation warning ? If I replace the annotation with the old @deprecated javadoc, the compiler warns about a deprecated class being used.

Never mind, I tried with jdk1.6.0_10 and the warning is shown. I guess it was a kind of bug in Tiger.
