i have a String in my .properties file

10020(key) = Buffer see <a href="some text">egge</a>

In the JSP page in the Browser instead of displaying the String

"Buffer see egge" it is displaying the whole thing ( i mean including the tag).

I need to remove the HTML tag in the JSP.

Please help me

I would avoid putting HTML in a properties file.
In fact, I would avoid writing HTML anywhere but in your JSP pages.
Instead, put only the value in the properties file.
Then, in your servlet or bean, extract it and bind its value to one of the scope objects where it can be retrieved from your JSP.
