Hi All,
I just have to enhanance, which one provide better functionality and features. Came through few good points, and just want to discuss the same to get some more new comparison between the two implementations of JSF.
So, can any one please help me with some of major drawbacks and advantages with regards to the varous components provided my both.
Eg: Tomahawk does not provides pop-up, its more like enhanced tool tip
Whereas RichFaces provides pop-up with application model, which i think is very good feature.
So, in the same way can anyone help me with more comparisons.

Any effort is appriciated.

Thanks
Jack

Thats interesting.

I got one, Richfaces FileUpload is much superior than Tomahawk inputFileUpload

It has nice little progress bar and stuff. Check it out!

I have a project that started out as a Tomahawk project, but I needed AJAX, so I brought in RichFaces.

At the moment, it uses both frameworks. In theory, RichFaces has all the abilities of Tomahawk and more, but no one ever guaranteed that. I'm just going on what I've seen of their respective feature lists. So far I haven't felt it to be worth the trouble to get rid of the Tomahawk code, since it does what I want.

Customer surveys are for companies who didn't pay proper attention to begin with.

you can also check trinidad http://myfaces.apache.org/trinidad/index.html if you do not have to select either one of tomahawk or richfaces.

I agree. Here's the link: http://ej-technologies/jprofiler - if it wasn't for jprofiler, we would need to run our stuff on 16 servers instead of 3.
