How would I implement a panel drag n' drop using RichFaces?

I try the sample of JBoss site, but it uses a String value in the backing bean. Do I need a backing bean for the panel? How could you set a JSF component inside a backing bean?
 
I agree. Here's the link: http://ej-technologies/jprofiler - if it wasn't for jprofiler, we would need to run our stuff on 16 servers instead of 3.
