This week's book giveaway is in the OO, Patterns, UML and Refactoring forum. We're giving away four copies of Refactoring for Software Design Smells: Managing Technical Debt and have Girish Suryanarayana, Ganesh Samarthyam & Tushar Sharma on-line! See this thread for details.
I have a problem with binding dynamic content on my page. I have a testBean with a String property 'html' where the content of a form is stored. For example: html="<h:inputText id="test" name="" value="" xmlns:h="http://java.sun.com/jsf/html"/>"
Now I want to render this in my form. The code on my page looks like this:
When I go on the page I just see the commandButton and not the input field. I know that when testBean.html is inserted in the value Attribute, the Lifecycle is at a point where the ViewTree of the JSF is already build and the h: tags are interpreted.
My Question is: Can I force JSF somehow to interpret this code and insert the new component in the Tree? [ December 04, 2008: Message edited by: stormqueen ]
