This week's book giveaway is in the OCAJP 8 forum. We're giving away four copies of OCA Java SE 8 Programmer I Study Guide and have Edward Finegan & Robert Liguori on-line! See this thread for details.
We have a EJB 2.1 project with Oracle 10g, we are using RSA 7.0
We have a problem when we want to add a new many to many relationshipt to a table (or EJB). I think we are missing one step in the precedure, this is what we are doing: - create the table in the xe.dbm file with all the fields and then we add the two FK that conform the PK. - Then we generate a new EJB with all the CMP fields and an id as a key for the EJB - Add the relationships with the two EJBs. - Once they are created, we select those two FK, and mark them as keys. - remove the id field. - then we make the mapping on the Map.mapxmi file
But then when we want to generate the RMI code with the "prepare for deployment" we get a "Error generating Create query from bean Mensaje (Abstract schema name=Mensaje)" the bean Mensaje is Ok, because we could make the prepare for deployment before adding this EJB. And the error in the Problems view is: An error has occured running EJBQL Validation.Check the error log.
