Anybody have an idea how the Hibernate implements the second-level Cache internally.Let say the implementation class provider is EHCache/JBossChache.I know how to use that cache in my application ,but want to know some internal steps.

Moving this to the ORM form.

Second level cache is managed through the SessionFactory in Hibernate, but underneath it is the ehcache or jboss cache that does 98% of the work.
