not getting data from oracle database when accessed using hibernate application

I am trying to get data from oracle database from following client application

In output i am able to print trasaction object and sql query.
But I am getting empty array list eventhough there are records in the corresponding table

can anybody help?

When I am executing above code , rows in the database getting deleted.

i am no where writing delete statement .I wrote only select statement.

can any help why the above code deleting records from the database
