Hi guys im to this jtds driver. I have downloaded the latest version of jtds driver and i have netbeans6.
I have successfully added the driver in the netbeans but i don't know the host and the port no of my SQL server 2005.
I m running SQL server 2005 on my local machine so what would be the port and the host name.
Please can anybody help me.
I have also seen the JTDS documentation in the source forge but i could get a clear picture out of that.
Please help

Please use a meaningful subject for your post

you can try this

jdbc:jdtds:microsoft://localhost:5000/yourDatabasename
