Hi Guys : Im running mysql embedded in a java application.
Id like to access it via a terminal or universal URL... Is this possible ? I have lots of maintenance that I want to do while building up the database. Thanks,
Jay

Not really other than dropping to a Windows/Linux command line in the background and launching the MySQL tool but that's a really dangerous thing to do. I suspect you can accomplish the same goals by putting everything you want to change in a stored procedure and calling that via JDBC.

Thats a good idea, but Im afraid it might be susceptible to the same problem... how can you create a stored procedure via JMX ?

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
