Balaji, There are some specific features in the remote like "power bass On" which is not available in the TV menu ( i mean when the tv is operated with out remote ) So is it possible to get those features also in the universal remote.

Open the remote control, put silver foil(folded) of cigerette packet between the keypad and circuit. your remote will become "feather-touch" remote control
If you cant get silver foil then try to rub pencil on the keypad(inside), dont rub pencil on circuit. It should start working properly.

Take remote to the electronic market and ask for a new one and you'll be surprized to see that you can get new one with most features that your older one supported between 250-400 Rs.

It works.. I have tried on my remote...
AW simple fact is that when you touch a bitton circuit should complete.. and because of wear and tear conducting material on key pad become useless.. so silver foil of cigrette just provide conductivity... and same with granite of pencil.
Give it a try ..
AW you are think of changing it.. [ April 29, 2005: Message edited by: R K Singh ]
