Doing few Yoga asanas consistently for a period of six months should remove that.

Joining Yoga class is the best way. Some people purchase the books and try to do on their own.For most of the asana,it works. For few asanas, you require somebody for instructions.

I always prefer some instructor for any physical/mental exercise...

Doing yoga because of a double chin sounds terribly indirect and inefficient. Do a web search on "Facercize" for facial exercizes that attack the problem directly.

SARVANGASANA

Can you show me a picture of a real person with a double chin actually doing that? Before and after pictures would be a bonus

That makes a whole lot more sense, I'd look into that Gerald

Try chewing your food atleast 50 times before you swallow ...
While drinking beer, drink straight from the bottle.... that way u'll have to look up everytime u take a sip. It's good neck exercise ..

You do realise you can't target fat loss the same way you can target muscle gain.

Actually, I would be careful with that Sarvangasana. It's not really reccommended for people who are out of shape. If you are out of shape, please get a spotter before you attempt that asana. Look at that illustration. For that asana to work, the entire weight of the body is place on the shoulder with the arms acting as props. If you get a little out of balance, you could end up with your weight on the neck, which won't be good, to say the least. If you are bottom heavy, you should be espescially careful because in that asana, your center of gravity won't make you the most stable structure in the world.

Better yet, if you are thinking of yoga, stop looking at asanas on the net, and get instruction from a trained instructor. Yoga is great but even easy looking asanas can go bad.

Sure you can ... through the magic of liposuction.

I stand corrected.
Or maybe instead of standing I should get into one of those asana positions.

WeightWatchers is a great thing. Its not really a diet -- just eating a LOT better and excercising.

I'm loving it. Down 10 pounds and a couple inches so far. 10 more pounds and a few more inches to go

But yeah... you can't target WHERE you lose fat. If you could do that -- phew... would I be a happy girl.

Arjun: Joining Yoga class is the best way.

I have done that already I like doing yoga, do not like my instructor though. Any opinions on how to choose instructors?
