Our Application was running in Java1.3 and it was working fine when we maximize the application. but in Java1.5 when we maximize it, displaying empty taskbar space if it is already in hidden. Use case is
1. Hiding the taskbar
2. maximizing the application (which displays taskbar portion empty where as in the java1.3, it is working fine)

Anybody knows solution, please let me know

Welcome to JavaRanch.

There are some differences in the way v1.3 and v1.5 and newer handle frames. Have you consulted the correct javax.swing API?

Posting your code would be the surefire way to get some help.

Darryl Burke is right; you should at least tell people on all involved websites if you post several times.
Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
