This week's book giveaway is in the Agile and other Processes forum. We're giving away four copies of The Mikado Method and have Ola Ellnestam and Daniel Brolund on-line! See this thread for details.
If a person/company in the US needs to send flowers or a gift basket to someone in India, how can they do that? Are there any Indian equivalents to 1-800-FLOWERS? (I'm thinking of gifts appropriate for promotions, weddings, babies, etc.)

Not sure about number, but there are few websites. You can try indiatimes or rediff shopping.
If you know the city, people may help you with local websites also. [ May 05, 2005: Message edited by: Varun Khanna ]

i have sent flowers from flora2000to india,uk,malayasia and australia.Never had any problem with them.
I would recommend Indiatimes to send flowers. I have sent flower from both indiatimes and rediff but when it come to quality of service indiatimes is really good.
I had sent flowers from both websites on valentine day to same destination, and indiatimes could manage to deliver on same day but rediff delivered next day
