i used JFrame to display my app with attached JPanel and JMenuBar.

but when am running my app... menubar items under layered by JPanels labels
how to resolve this one

When you create and display your JFrame are you calling the setVisible() before adding the panels and menus?

sounds like you are using java.awt.Label instead of javax.swing.JLabel
