how is th Jasper Report Performance when the report grows beyond 10000

Hi all,

I just want to know the performance analysis about Jasper Report when the report grows beyond 10,000. If anybody have analyzed please update to me. Thanks in advance..

10000 of what? Pages? Images? Something else?

How was the performance when you tried this?

sorry I forgot to mention the word 'rows of data in .xls file format'..I didn't try.we are analysing the tools to use. One more doubt I have, will Jasper Report support 'Excel automation-Macro support' like 'Actuate e-spreadsheet'? If not,suggest which open-source tool is supporting..

Hi,

I have performance problem in this scenario and we are already using SwapFileVirtualizer for this and we still have performance problems which is causing problem to entire web application.

Can anyone suggest me a way to overcome this issue.
