Applet code change does not effect the view

Hi all,
I have a very small applet, which draws an oval to the screen.
When I modify the applet code, (for example add another oval, or change its color, location, size etc.) and compile the code, I do not see the changes in view. (The old applet is shown always)
I cleared the cache of browser but it did not help. I am sure that I am modifying and compiling right file.
What can be the reason? What should I do to see the changes?
Thanks in advance for any help.

Try quitting and restarting the browser. If that doesn't work, have a look at the server logs to see if the browser is actually requesting the applet files again, and what the server response to that is.
