Hi all,
I'm trying to find a way to set the max and min memory settings for an applet via its html. Can this be done?

No, that's not possible. The user needs to set that in the Java Plugin control panel on their machine.

Hi Ulf,
Sorry for the previous message. Is it possible to set the max and min properties within the html and pass them to the applet. The applet then sets the max and min values that it would run with???

Gone :-)

No, that's not possible either. If the web app/applet could somehow affect this w/o the user doing anything, then it could start a denial of service attack against the client machine by claiming all memory.
