I hope you might be able to help me with the following request.

Im looking for a special type of music. Either songs, musicians ect.

Due to my limited vocabulary/musical knowleadge, im not aquainted with the
proper "name" of this type of music, and have therefor choosen to call
it "Screeming music"

In short it's classic music/elf music with a background singer - who
doesn't have to actualy sing, but rather "make noices". Examples include
Braveheart's "freedom theme", some of Enyas songs, the movie Gladiator,
some "rock opera" (Evanescence or temptation inside) songs and some operas.

As a sidenote concerning language: I prefer latin, gaelic, italian.. that
is, languages I dont understand!

I hope you understand the above.. else I just sound like a lunatic.

Eighter?

Elf music? More

Hmmm, doesn't sound very pleasant so far.

with a background singer - who doesn't have to actually sing, but rather "make noices".

I'm still not sure what this means, since most of the examples you cite do feature what I would call "singing". Is it enough if they don't sing in lyrics which you understand?

Based on the examples you cite, here are a few artists you may wish to check out:

Dead Can Dance
Lisa Gerrard
Vas
Azam Ali
Sheila Chandra

You should be able to find sound samples for all these on Amazon.

else I just sound like a lunatic.

Well yes - but welcome to the asylum.

The Gladiator 'screaming' ( I felt it was more like whining ) is actually nice.
If I am not mistaken, even Troy has something similar... and LOTR too ? and after Gladiator, I often see that it's been used in more movies ( Hollywood or otherwise ) as background disturbance
I have heard some Indian songs with noises/sounds resembling Japanese.

This is a good idea, let me try Jim's samples...

Ok.. well.. I just used my imagination - I guessed what I was looking
for might be catogorized as elven music. After searching the net, I found
this webpage http://www.elvenmusic.com Try to listen to the song of the Moonsingers,
which can be downloaded at http://www.elvenmusic.com/soam.html .

Im not that picky - as long as it sounds nice. I cite the above, because
those are the artists that come closest to what im looking for.

I forget which game it is for, maybe Quake III or Half Life II, but there is a soundtrack that is out that is exactly what you are looking for. Some of those games also have music inspired by the game, I think that was it.

Nope, it was Halo II that I was thinking of directly.

However, check out Game Soundtracks in this Amazon, com search.

After listening to your "elven music" link I think the term you may be looking for is "New Age" music. Amazon has a section for this here. In particular you may have luck with the Celtic New Age section. Let us know if that's closer to what you're thinking of...

I'll try to remember some specifics, but you may find some possibilities in um... Gothic music. 'Will' tends to be like a Gregorian chant with a guy shouting in the background, maybe listen to Pink Floyds 'Great Gig in the Sky' from Dark side of the moon?

I'm sure I know some indie-style Celtic music, I'll have to check my collection.

I'm not sure I understand the questions, I haven't seen Gladiator or Troy.

What a coincidence, I was going to post a similar thread; looking for a song ware a woman makes kind of sexual noises in background too electronic drums and keyboards. It was some kind of 90s rave track, and it is totally unforgettable. Its the kind of music they would play in science fiction music like star-wars or bladerunner.

This may help Music genres. Kind of get the impression that you are talking about a mordern version of the old baroque style.
