Question about the SCJP 6 Exam

I bought the "Sun Certified Programmer for Java 6 Study Guide" by Kathy Sierra and have finished the book. My question is related to the questions on the actual exam.... how "in sync" are they with the material in the book/CD?

The reason I ask is that on the JavaRanch cow roundup game I scored a 96% (149 out of 156) but on the mock exam that came with the book I only scored a 33% which is drastically different. The roundup game states that it is for the SCJP. Is it for version 5? Is there that much of a difference between 5 and 6, or are the questions just that much easier?

Any help is appreciated, also any links to more mock questions/materials is appreciated.

Hi Brian,

The rules roundup game questions are not close to the difficulty of the real exam. The questions in the book are meant to be a little bit tougher than on the real exam. I've heard anywhere from 5-20% harder. My guess, after hearing a lot of feedback, is that the questions in the book are maybe 10% harder than on the real exam.

yes the books is harder than real exam, especially many mocks are harder than real exam...
