Is it worthful paying Indian Rs 375 for 500 MB download 256kbps broadband connection?

If it's Sify stay away. I can explain more later.... I am yet to get my connection working which is down since March 21.

Did I mentioned that I am expecting free of cost? I am just not sure that how much I can use 500MB as I am confused how can I match 500 MB with no of hours I can browse.

Thanks Manish. Its not Sify, it is fro Tata Indicom. Any idea about Tata Indicom?

Get hold of a "download meter" which keeps track of how much data you download.
If you only plan to "browse" the net, then 500MB should be enough - but if you plan to download movies, music ect. then you'll need flatrate.

Thanks Svend. Yeah I need internet connection just for browsing, checking mails. And some times to work from home.

Hey, heard that Data one from BSNL is good, you can chk it out
Check out Sify problems here. Despitet me taking 6 mths unlimited, my conection is not working since March 21st and Sify ppl don't have anyone to fix it. On personal meeting their tech support is scolding management for selling without infrastructure and enough tech ppl.
