But if you are intermidiate Java programmer you can also read Kicking Butt with MIDP and MSA: Creating Great Mobile Applications. Is not detailed as Core J2ME but has examples with latest API's. Beginning J2ME is somwhere in the middle between Core J2ME and Kicking Butt with MIDP...
It was my first question on this forum. I heard that this forum is very helpful. I am feeling very nice to be on this forum. Thanks to all of you, I hope in the future i will also answer and help people like you.
There is a new J2ME book. The book is titled "Beginning Java ME" by appress. It covers CLDC and CDC. This book is not like the old book (Beginning J2ME) by Jonathan knudssen.

Shameless plug here - We just released a book on SCMAD exam a few weeks back. Currently, it's available only in India and neighbourhood regions, but should hopefully be available elsewhere soon. It's published by TataMcGrawHill, the India wing of McGrawHill publishers.
Thanks for you reply. but is there no any book like "Head First Java" or "Head First JSP" for Mobile Application, I means J2ME.
Not to my knowledge, based on responses provided by Bert Bates in other threads. While I agree that our book is not as picturesque as "Head First" series, we have made every attempt to make it useful as a tool to prepare for the exam and as a reference understand J2ME in general. We hope you find it useful as well.
