hi guys

i am trying to use ant, selenium and java to test my gui.

i know this is a very general question, but please someone gives me some suggestions.

A better question would be more specific. A question that I have is whether or not you are familiar with ant and have read the selenium documentation.

Have you gone through the Selenium tutorials? If not, please do, then you can come back with specific questions.

Or is you question more on how to integrate Selenium test scripts into your Ant build? If so, this page gives instructions on running Selenium scripts form the command line.
