CVS - Whats changed between tags?

CVS (via NetBeans 5.0) has been used here to tag different releases of software, so I can checkout V6_0_0, V6_0_1 or the trunk.

NetBeans (CVS -> Search History) implies that I can search for whats changed between V6_0_0 and V6_0_1, or between V6_0_1 and the trunk, but it doesn't seem to work for me (whereas search between dates seems to work ok).

Can I do this on the command line and if so how?
