Hello,

I am quite new to Eclipse IDE.
I am using Eclipse-jee-ganymede-win32, Version 3.4.0.
How do i open an existing project?
Please help.

Use File > Import and select General > Existing Projects into Workspace. Click next and then browse to the directory contain the project directory.

Funny.... such a complex procedure to do such a simple and basic operation...

For sure. I am trying to switch to Eclipse, and was working yesterday on a project. Today, I can't figure out how to open it. So I googled, and it brought me back here to the Ranch.

Since this is an ancient thread, clearly this feature has been around a long time.
