I would like to make certain fields in my forms like confirm email, credit card info, cvv2 info ect from being cached in my textfields.

I read a bit about turning autocomplete off, but this doesnt work with all browsers. I tried using no-cache in the page header but that didnt work.

What would be the best way to do this?

TIA john

Using the autocomplete="off" attribute should help you in the case of most browser. Which are the browser's you are looking at specifically?

all browsers. My biggest concern is the credit card info. I looked at some page sorce of some ecom sites and i didnt see that using autocomplete="off" on those form fields, yet they dont cache. so the must be a better way??
